Ade Oshinuga, Health and Social Care Consultant
Ade has been a recruitment consultant for over 6 years, meeting the needs of clients and providing them with recruitment solutions.
He began in the recruitment field placing care assistants, social workers and nurses in care homes, NHS Trusts and hospitals. He moved on to recruiting support workers, project officers, qualified social workers and unit managers for social services in local authorities. He was also account manager for a London Borough Learning Difficulties service.
At People Unlimited, Ade works with clients in the third sector, including charities, local authorities and housing associations.
Ade strongly believes that recruitment is not only about filling a vacancy for a client or finding a candidate a job but understanding how the client works, what their main needs are, analyzing which candidates would best assist the vulnerable service users that the client supports and building on-going relationships with both clients and candidates. It is also about listening to the candidates, finding out what type of jobs they are looking for and placing them in organisations where they can further develop their career or find a new career path.
